About this quiz

What it explores

This quiz explores the study activities you naturally reach for: whether you'd rather try something hands-on, sketch a diagram, talk an idea through or read and take careful notes when you start a new topic, prepare for a test, practise a skill or review a mistake.

Unlike many learning style quizzes, it doesn't sort you into a fixed visual, auditory or kinesthetic type. There's little evidence that matching study methods to a single learning style improves results, and most people learn best by mixing several methods. Your result describes the activities you enjoy most and suggests practical ways to combine them with others.
